We often say that action speaks louder than word but it's rare that we put such thoughts in practice. We live in a country where women empowerment is spoken about in length but there is still a lot that can be done.  Pearl's WAVE - A unique initiative and a step contributing towards raising a voice that is unanimous for all women throughout the country. Abuse, harassment, threat and torture together form a vicious circle which has been going on in India for years now; Pearl's WAVE intends to put an end to such exploitation and bring about a revolutionary change.

Associated with "Breakthrough" an NGO working forward for the wellness of women, Pearl's WAVE is the platform which will bring about the much needed relief and transformation. This amalgamation marks the beginning to the end of violence towards women. Yes..Our ladies will breathe free!

6^th February 2010 will officially be the day when a strong message would be articulated to the masses and the cause thus communicated will be reflected from an altogether fresh perspective. Gracing the occasion and extending their support would be renowned Bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Saif Ali Khan and Harman Baweja. The event would be flagged off by the spokesperson of WAVE expressing their thoughts followed by words of the brand spokesperson of Pearl - The official sponsor. Post the introductions; the event will be followed by an interactive session amongst all present media, the spokesperson and celebrities. With such an advent Pearl's WAVE promises a large scale change brought about by initiating a small step and making a fundamental difference to the lives of many.

The strength of women can carry the weight of the world. It is such a disgrace to hear women being subjugated by their own sometimes in the name of various forms of injustice. Violence against women is unacceptable. Sadly a lot of women are becoming victims of brutality. In spite of having strength a lot of women are suppressed to silence. WAVE is an approach for all such women to make a stand.
